A retreat is a fantastic opportunity to "disconnect to reconnect." Practicing for several hours each day allows us to delve much deeper into our practice. Studies have shown that mindfulness retreats have long-term positive effects on stress response and breathing patterns. We also have more time to connect with what gives our lives meaning and purpose, realigning ourselves with the essential aspects of life.
Workshops provide an excellent opportunity to systematically engage with a topic over an extended period and to embed new knowledge as well as specific practices and habits into everyday life.
